My backround is in Corporate America. From about 19yrs old until I was 33 I worked in NYC. Working 8 hrs a day and commuting 90 minutes each way to get home. After 14yrs of doing that I knew that I couldn't do it up until retirement age, something had to change. So I had this big idea to go to school for Massage Therapy and in NYS you need an associates degree in Massage. So $20,000 later and $10,000 more thousand invested in starting a private practice the economy had taken a toll on my business, so sadly I had to close the doors summer of 2009. In October 2009 a big change in life happened and I moved away from NY and started over in Florida . Well because I didn't have any money I couldn't do Massage Therapy in Florida I needed at least $500 to take the state test and pay for my license. What was I going to do?? I put in applications for retail jobs but I had been my own boss for so long that if one of those employers called me I knew I already didn't want to go back to be working on someone elses terms. Well thank god for my enroller Tyleen Norton she called me February of 2010 about an ad I responded to on line, and although I really did not have any money at all I knew I wanted to do this so I borrowed the money to get started so with that I started a home career with AmeriPlan USA®, and in 5 weeks I reached the 1st level of management, Regional Sales Director. I have tried other home based businesses in the past and I new that there was a way to make money but was not successful with all 6 of them but I never gave up looking. I knew there was one that truly was a work from home and truly helped other peoples lives for the better. Hi there team members! My name is Alisa Pearce and I have been with Ameriplan about two months now and I have got to say I love working for this company and having such a great team! Well a little bit about my self. Before finding this great work at home opportunity. I have always worked in the customer service field practically my whole life or at least 15 years of it. Which is scary to say because I am approaching my 29th birthday this year in November. I have always loved working in the customer service field and I love it so much I am planning on going back to school to get a Associates in Human Service the beginning of September.
