One thing that we have found to work well are post cards which are full color high gloss on the front and no gloss and black and white on the back. These cards are directed towards parents about working from home. We hand these out, similar to how you would hand out a business card. Tear Tab Flyers - You will find some of these back in your initial training email. These flyers are best if printed with a color printer or you can print them at office depot for $0.49 a piece in color. Use scissors to cut the tear tabs so people can tear them off easily. Before you hang these flyers tear off one of the tabs. No one wants to be the first to take the information. But if it looks like others have already done so then the information will seem more appealing. Make 10-20 of these flyers and drive around town looking for community boards where you can hang them. Some of the best places I have found boards are in grocery stores, Chinese restaurants, apartment complexes' mail box centers and ice cream shops. Definitely check grocery stores and strip malls. Apartment complexes yield GREAT results!. You can go into the leasing office and ask if there is a community board. Tell them you have a flyer to hang. Most will tell you where it is or take your flyer and hang it for you. Make sure to tell them what the flyer is about and . Give them some information to keep as well.
Apartment Complexes - Many apartment complexes can take your flyers and put them in their new resident packages or in the monthly news letter. All you have to do is ask and many times this is a great, simple, effortless, free way to advertise.
Fast Food Restaurant Flyer - Drive around to all the fast food restaurants NOT during lunch or dinner rush and go up to the counter and start talking to the first manager you see. TALK LOUDLY! Others will overhear. Tell them you are a benefits specialist with Ameriplan and your company does a lot of work with McDonalds, Burger King, Checkers and restaurant you in. Tell them you are able to offer dental and vision benefits to their employees for only $5 a week OR medical, dental and vision benefits for only $10 a week for them and their families. Member and IBO Flyer - This is one for the ambitious go getter who also wants a great work out. This flyer is two sided, front and back, and there will be three per page. I print these on the thickest card stock they make in a hot orange or hot yellow color. If you have your office depot discount which if you don't have it, please sign up today, if you have your discount you can actually make SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY of these flyers on bright colored card stock (front and back printing) for ONLY $25! This is AMAZINGLY low and very affordable. Ok, so the flyer is two sided as I mentioned. The first side is an individual ad for working from home. The second side is an individual ad for the benefit plans. So who is to tell which side will be face up when someone finds it and chances are real real good that if they read it, they will also flip it over and read the back side as well. You can do a lot of things with these...but some of the things I do with them are...-Pass them out in large crowds or at shows or outdoor events like art show, festivals, flea or farmer’s markets. (just smile while you are doing it and you won't look out of place, promise)
-Put them around at local businesses. Ask if it is ok if you set some of your information on their counter. Tell them you work with a medical benefits company that gives coverage to all Americans for less than $40 a month and that their customers could really benefit from having proper medical coverage. If they say no, don't be discourage, just move on. If they say yes, jot down the name and location of the business on a pad of paper and come back once per week to fill up your materials.
-Go around to apartment complexes and put these on the resident's doors. Wear sneakers! This one is a GREAT work out as well! :-) Just punch a hole in the top of the flyer and string a rubber band through so you can hand them on door knobs. A bag of about 4000 rubber bands is $4.99 at office depot.
-Put them on wind shields at local flea or farmers markets or other similar events. Can't afford a booth at a health show? Go anyway and put these cards on the cars in the parking lot.You can do almost anything with these cards....and the point is....get them in as many people's hands as possible.
Visit Local Farmers or Flea Markets - Talk to the vendors! Not the customers. But, talk loud. Customers will over here you and ask YOU about the plans. Take post cards or flyers. Walk up to each vendor and simply say "Here is some information for the vendors on how to get dental and medical benefits for only $10 a week". Linger momentarily or until they say "Thank You" or start asking questions. If they ask 2 or more questions give them a full Ameriplan brochure. Additional Tips for Finding Members
• Drive around nicer neighborhoods where you will find people’s lawns being done by Gardening Contractors; stop and give them a brochure, or flyer. If you live in an area where there are Spanish-speaking persons, be sure to have some Spanish brochures on hand.
• Hand out brochures/business cards at your local hair salon/barber shop when you get your hair cut.
• Look in your newspaper or phone book for ads for local independent painters, contractors, Yard Maintenance people and contact to discuss Benefits.
• Leave brochures/flyers at local pharmacies.
• Talk to local senior groups to see if you can bring some flyers/brochures/info. for them to have on hand if they have seniors who have loopholes in their Medicare plans that don’t cover some benefits, like dental, or vision, or to fill in the gaps with their prescription plan.
• Check to see if there are health fairs in your area throughout the year to have a table. You can check to see if there are local IBOs who want to participate with you to bring down the cost of the table. Contact your upline to find a local IBO to team with.

1. Group sales... do you know anyone who has their own business with at least 5 employees? Some good businesses to check with would be daycares, auto repair shops, hair salons...etc. Those might not actually sign up as groups, per say, but you can generally find some interested member prospects. Anytime you enroll an actual group...you get credit for all those members. In other words...a group of 10 people would indeed give you 10 members....all of which would count towards RSD.
2. Local health fairs.... check with local gyms to see if they will be holding any kind of a health fair. Those are wonderful places to find members.
3. Shopping plazas/malls... some people will find a large shopping plaza, or mall, and go from store to store taking to the cashiers about benefits. I have heard of people walking through a plaza needing all 6 members and walking out with all 6 members.
